Network
Installation:
1. Insert
the installation disk into a CD drive either on the network computer or a
workstation with appropriate security rights. The installation program should
start automatically. If not go to ‘Manually Starting Install’.
2. You
will be prompted for basic information about the installation. Enter the
information that is appropriate for your computer system.
3. The
installation program will prompt you for a network installation drive and
directory. All SuperKey2000 users will need to have full read / write access
to this location on the network. You may also want to create additional directories
or sub-directories to store the master key systems files you will create.
4. The
files will then be copied to the network. Note - this procedure only installs
the necessary files on the network for common access. See ‘Setting Up Workstations’
to install SuperKey on individual workstations.
Registering
The Program:
1. Setup
one workstation. See ‘Setting Up Workstations’. This is typically the
workstation from where the network files were installed but, it doesn’t
matter.
2. Start
the program at the workstation. Make sure that the preferences are set for
network prior to applying any release codes you receive from Lockshop Software.
3. Click
Help on the
top menu, then click Register.
4. Complete
the registration form and send it to LockShop Software by any of the supported
methods, email (directly from the program), fax or mail. To fax or mail your
registration the program will save the registration information to a file
in your installation directory. Use your word processor to print the file
- ‘Order.txt’ then fax or mail the registration.
5. Alternately,
you can cut and paste the registration codes into an email. The codes are
located at the lower left corner of the registration window.
6. Once
we receive your registration information we will return the release codes
to you via the method of your choice.
Note: The
network license must be installed before any of the workstations will operate.
